This blog started out, as the title hints, as a journal through midlife when things seemed to be all in disarray. I was over on another platform here. You can read about the last year and a half if you care to. I’ve moved over the recipes and started anew with a better format here on WordPress!
Over time, my diet radically changed, along with my mindset and my relationship with food. Here you will find information and recipes on living a whole-food, plant-based diet. My goal is to get the most nutrients from each meal while fueling my body with strong defenses against disease and illness. I hope that by doing this I will be able to avoid things like cancer, dementia, heart disease & stroke. I want to live a long, healthy life; enjoying my grandkids and great grandkids.
